At Benx, we understand that not everyone has a clear vision for their career from the outset. Often, it takes a few job moves and diverse roles to find the right path. We believe that attitude, commitment, and desire can take you far, and that skills can be learned along the way. Our people are our greatest asset – it’s about having the right people.
When Charlotte Bailey left school, she dreamt of a career in finance and became a student at Babington Business in Stoke-on-Trent. Despite enjoying finance, circumstances led her to leave her studies and take on a transport role, working for a family friend.
In 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Charlotte joined Benx SPSenvirowall as a transport planner. She was responsible for scheduling deliveries for the business, a role that eventually expanded to include Benx RCM deliveries. Charlotte quickly became a familiar and supportive presence around the company, always willing to help her colleagues.
In 2022, a finance position opened up at Benx, and Charlotte jumped at the opportunity to apply. After a successful application and interview process, she was appointed as a finance assistant.
Charlotte has since completed her Level 2 Certificate in Accounting and is now excited to progress to Level 3, further enhancing her skills and knowledge in finance.
Charlotte shares, “I’ve always wanted to work in finance, and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given by Benx to train and progress in an area I enjoy. Numbers don’t have an opinion – something I love about working in finance.”
It’s wonderful to see how far Charlotte has come since joining the finance team. She is a valued member, and we look forward to witnessing her continued growth and development in all things finance.
