Benx Proudly Supports the Military vs Cancer Summer Ball
Benx was immensely proud to stand alongside the Armed Forces community at the Military vs Cancer Summer Ball in Lincoln on Friday 17 July.
For us, this was far more than an evening out. It was an opportunity to support a charity whose work carries genuine weight, providing a lifeline to serving military personnel, veterans and their families as they face the devastating impact of cancer.
Military vs Cancer is a grant-giving charity offering emotional, practical and financial support to members of the military community affected by the disease. Its assistance can help ease the pressures surrounding treatment, care, and family life at a time when people may already be facing unimaginable uncertainty.
Those who serve, and those who have served, dedicate so much of their lives to protecting others. When cancer enters their lives, they and their families deserve to know that the same spirit of loyalty, strength, and solidarity will be returned to them.
That belief sat at the heart of the Summer Ball.
Hosted by military magician and Britain’s Got Talent winner Richard Jones, the 1940s-themed event brought people together in support of one shared mission. A fundraising auction held during the evening provided another important opportunity for guests to contribute to the charity’s vital work.
Representing Benx were Alan and Louisa Robb, Dr. Kevin and Lavinia Ruane, Ben Mitchell and Tracy Britton, Ian and Lesley Quinton, and Terry Murphy and Victoria Anderson. We are deeply proud to support Military vs Cancer and the remarkable people behind it. Their work is driven by compassion, strengthened by community and rooted in a simple but powerful promise: no member of the Armed Forces family should have to face cancer alone.
It was a privilege for the Benx team to play a small part in an evening dedicated to such an important cause.
