Exciting News: Ian Wilson to Speak at Zak World of Façades!

We’re thrilled to announce that our Chairman, Ian Wilson, will be speaking at the upcoming Zak World of Façades conference! This renowned global event brings together leaders from across the façade industry to share insights, innovations, and ideas that are shaping the built environment.

Ahead of the event, we sat down with Ian to get a preview of his talk and hear his thoughts on the challenges and opportunities currently facing the façade sector.

1. What will you be speaking about at Zak World of Façades?

“My presentation is titled ‘The challenges of rainscreen’. It looks at the inherent inefficiencies and duplication involved in specifying, procuring, and installing rainscreen systems – and a proposed solution.”

2. Why is this topic important for the façade industry right now?

Ian:
“For too long, rainscreen processes have been overly complex, resulting in inefficiencies at every stage. With time and cost pressures at unprecedented levels, it is more important than ever to find ways of specifying and installing safe and effective rainscreen systems efficiently.”

3. How is Benx driving innovation in façade design and construction?

Ian:
“Innovation has always been central to the Benx business. Every year, we commit significant financial and manpower resources to creating façade systems that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance. Our recently launched Safewall ‘outer through-wall’ systems are KIWA-certified. As a one-stop solution, we provide documentation, technical support, training, fabrication, and product supply – all from a single source.”

4. What insights are you hoping to gain from other speakers and discussions?

Ian:
“The conference agenda has a wealth of interesting topics and speakers. I’m especially looking forward to learning more about progress in material innovations, design trends, and the use of AI in façade design.”

5. What excites you most about the future of the façade industry?

Ian:
“Having seen only incremental changes over the past decade, I believe the façade industry is now poised for an acceleration in innovation. This will include new approaches to design, procurement, testing, and certification – using new materials, processes, and technologies.”

As a long-standing advocate for progress in façade design and construction, Ian’s insights are not to be missed. We’re proud to see Benx represented at such a prestigious event and can’t wait to see the industry-wide conversations that follow.

Stay tuned for more updates from Zak World of Façades!
