- How long have you been with Benx? 13 years this year, I think! Time flies when you’re having fun!
- What do you love most about your job? Working closely with team members and customers, and the fact that no two days are the same; if you like routine, this isn’t for you! When it’s going well, it’s very rewarding, particularly when you see a team member developing.
- What does your role involve? Managing the newbuild and modular budget, the team members and liaising with other department colleagues. I like the overall interaction of things and trying to coordinate a strategy through to the bite sized tasks.
- What is a surprising or a fun fact about you? I’m a member of Chelsea and Fulham Harley owners’ group, having been a biker for years, “since I was born” …so was my dad, and hence how I was sensibly influenced! AND: I’m a qualified mining engineer and worked underground colliery in Yorkshire.
- What is your go to takeaway? Chicken Madras but could be fish and chips depending on mood etc.
- Who is your favourite band/artist? Queen, Eagles, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Springsteen; so many “toons”, so little time. Great to play as vinyl.
- Do you have any pets? Yes, a Rottweiler. Also, a couple of mice that appear in the house every winter.
- What is your dream holiday? Any with my family, location unimportant to a degree, but we’ve been to Frigiliana in Spain quite a lot so probably there. Equally, if someone (anyone) wants to offer a beachfront condo in Bermuda, I’m sure that will be my fave place very quickly!
