Meet Mark Carter our HGV Driver & the man behind our #MarkDelivers campaign! Mark’s role involves loading and securing the load then transporting it to the customers’ site. - How long have you been with Benx? I’ve been here 10 years in August.
- What do you love most about your job? I enjoy making a difference, trying to deliver to the customers and fulfilling their expectations. Being out on the road although traffic can sometimes be hard to deal with. Singing along to the radio.
- What does your role involve? Loading and securing the load then transporting it to the customers site. Making a route plan to ensure that the deliveries and made on time and within schedule. When at site there are different rules and regulations to adhere to with added restrictions involved when driving the moffett fork truck.
- What is a surprising or a fun fact about you? I cycled from Land End to John O Grouts for Huntington’s charity.
- What is your go to takeaway? I don’t eat many takeaways but if I was to choose I think it would be Pad Thai.
- Who is your favourite band/artist? I like most music and don’t have a favourite band but old school soul music is a fav.
- Do you have any pets? We have a disabled Pug called Doug. He has his own wheelchair for outside the house.
- What is your dream holiday? I love to do an around the world cruise, but most of the time any cruise where hot.
